MEMPHIS, TN - Mouth of tha South Entertainment Group and Resource Entertainment Group (REG) announce the formation of a new booking agency and event production company – Mouth of tha South (MOTS).  The new agency will offer will offer hip-hop, R&B, rap, soul, and funk entertainers and event production. MOTS will be led by hip-hop entrepreneur Artemis “Peppa” Williams, who will act as CEO of the Memphis-based venture.  As president, Williams will set the creative vision for the company, and his relationships with urban artists across the nation will underpin the booking abilities of MOTS.Resource Entertainment Group will provide administrative support, bookkeeping and financial management support, and event production services to MOTS, with REG’s Howard Stovall serving as Chief Operating Officer for MOTS.  Stovall currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Chicago-based International Association of Corporate Entertainment Producers.This joint venture is a milestone for the Memphis and Mid-South entertainment industry, bringing together urban artists and mainstream agency support in a way never before seen in the region.“What we are going to do will be groundbreaking,” said CEO Peppa Williams. “This agency is going to bring support and professionalism to artists who have never had access to this level of resources before.  The strengths in this partnership are going to create real results for the artists we work with.”Adds COO Howard Stovall, “REG has been looking for new opportunities for growth, and we are very excited to team up with a man we’ve worked with many times before and in whom we have a ton of confidence.  Joining REG’s strengths to Peppa’s abilities in a region where new urban music is thriving means the sky is the limit as far as this agency is concerned.MOTS offers a totally new platform for artists to harness the power of REG’s proven Internet marketing engines, making MOTS’s artists readily available to fans all over the country and creating new opportunities for performances and appearances.“This partnership and the opportunities it will create within the urban music community is going to translate into more bookings and better compensation for artists who have been self-promoting or working with solo operators,” said Williams. “We’re playing for the long term to benefit both emerging and established artists who want to take their game up a level.”“This is a breakthrough model that will set the stage for possibilities that many artists have never even considered,” adds REG partner Paul Chandler, who will be actively involved in operations with MOTS. “This is a new approach that leverages unique and valuable assets on both sides.”
