Billy Gibson's remarkable voice and prowess on the harmonica have long been a featured element at the Home of the Blues — Beale Street in Memphis. Now, having been named Beale Street Entertainer of the Year and received national accolades as a Blues Music Award winner for Best Instrumentalist (Harmonica) and Best New Blues Artist, Billy Gibson is no longer Beale Street's best-kept secret.
Billy is one of the nation's brightest rising blues stars, and his fan base is growing daily. The Billy Gibson Band's frequent appearances at premier nightclubs and festivals across the U.S. and internationally have earned them a devoted following. The band is very flexible, too, and can add a dynamite horn section, back-up singers, etc. if the occasion requires.
For private events, Billy and REG can also add a unique, memorable keepsake: an authentic Hohner harmonica. Because of Billy's endorsement deal with Hohner, we have access to these great blues instruments at a deep discount. You can give one to each guest, and Billy will direct a brief, fun tutorial on how to blow some mean blues harp. Then, you and your guests can jam will Billy and the band, and everyone will take home a wonderful memento. Call REG for more information.
A few of Billy's accolades: 2009 Blues Music Award: Instrumentalist of the Year (Harmonica) 2006 Blues Music Award Nominee: Best New Artist 2005 Beale Street Entertainer of the Year
